INTRODUCTION
University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) invites you to spend four weeks of your summer in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, the United Republic of Tanzania which is inhabited by friendly and warm-hearted people. The four-week Summer Programme will be held from 20th June to 15th July 2022. It combines both a study and cultural experience at one of the oldest and premier public universities in East Africa.
We have a holistic approach in regards to how a student should be introduced to a study field or subject. This is reflected by the fact that we try to present a well-balanced academic programme combining theory and practice in an organic manner.
2022 UDSM International Summer School will also offer you a great opportunity to participate in the exciting “Tanzania Unforgettable” tours to top-rated tourist attractions in Tanzania including three of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa (Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Mount Kilimanjaro) and Zanzibar, a paradise island which is famous for its history and beaches.

Application Process:
(1) Complete the Online Application Form (see the Important Links below) and provide all other required documents
(2) You will be informed if you have been accepted (within the period of three weeks after submission of your application).
(3) Invoice will be issued to the accepted applicants with payment instructions.
(4) After payment of the indicated Summer School fees a Letter of Acceptance will be issued.
(5) Pre-Arrival Information will be provided.

(2) Student Visa
The University of Dar es Salaam will facilitate successful applicants to obtain a three 3 months student visa before arrival, The student's visa fee of $50 is included in the
programme fees.
(3) COVID-19 Measure
During the peak of the pandemic, UDSM had implemented a calculated and effective response to COVID - 19 which largely succeeded in curbing the spread of the virus.
