The University of Dar es Salaam, through the College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CoNAS), has established a programme to support teaching of Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry in selected secondary schools in Tanzania. This programme, which is known as Mathematics and Science Teaching Support Programme (MSTSP), was established after realizing that some schools in the country face a critical shortage of teachers in these subjects.
