Godfrey Boniventure

Mr. Boniventura holds BA Economics and MA economics from the University of Dar es salaam. He is currently the head of Programmes at Haki Elimu.  He has several years of professional experience in education and development researches, policy and budget analysis. 


Adolf Ndunguru

Mr. Ndunguru is currently a Permanent secretary, TAMISEMI.  Has worked as PS , Ministry of Finance and with TRA prior to the current position.


Anyikite Mwakatalima

Coordinator - National Sanitation Campaign at the Ministry of Health, Community Development. He has also worked with Ministry of Health and Social Welfare as well as Tanzania Red Cross Society.

He serves as member of committee of National Steering Committee on Aflatoxin Control and East African Community (EAC) Regional Advisory Committee on Water supply, Sanitation and Hygiene under the PREPARED Project.

Secretariat, Technical Working Group for Sanitation and Hygiene under Water Sector Development Programme.

He is a member of Tanzania Environmental Health Association and Programme Coordinating Mechanism for GSF Project.


Monica Hangi

Ms. Monica holds BA Economics and MA economics from the University of Dar es salaam and a post graduate diploma from Institute of Social Studies, Netherlands.

She currently works as Regional Director, East and Central Africa at the TradeMark East Africa (TMEA). She has also worked with Society for International Development (SID) and Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF).

She is a member in National Sanitary and Phyto-Sanitary (SPS) and Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Task Force; National SADC Custom Union Task Force and National Technical Team in preparing Tanzania’s National Policy on Regional Integration.

In additional to over ten years’ experience in project delivery, programme oversight and team management, her research work covers regional integration, trade and investment.


Khatibu Kazungu

Dr. Kazungu has a PhD Economics – University of Glasgow, Masters of Science in Economics – University of Manchester, Postgraduate Diploma, Management of Development – University of Tulin, and BA Economics and MA economics from the University of Dar es salaam

He is currently the Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs. He worked as Deputy Permanent Secretary responsible for treasury services at the Ministry of Finance and Planning. Has previously worked as DC – Mtwara, Regional Administrative Secretary - Kilimanajaro, also worked with President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government and Open University of Tanzania.


Beatrice Mkenda

Dr. Mkenda holds a PhD (Econ) from Göteborg University,       Mphil (Econ) from University of Sussex and BA (Econ) from University of Zambia.

She is currently the Dean of School of Economics and lecturer at University of Dar es Salaam. She has also worked with the University of Zambia.

She was a member in SURP, Ardhi University’s Board and Mwalimu Nyerere Chair in Development’s committee. Also a vice chair – academic Advisory Board for CPP and CMAP.

Her teaching and research covers international economics (emphasis on globalization issues, exchange rates and trade), development economics, macroeconomics, poverty analysis and gender analysis.
