Goodluck has worked as a researcher, trainer and consultant in various areas of private sector development, agribusiness, youth entrepreneurship, local economic development, corporate governance, management and leadership, as well as public private dialogue and advocacy. He has been actively involved in supporting public-private dialogue (PPD) and advocacy process for the purpose of improving the business environment and investment climate in Tanzania. Goodluck has had an opportunity to train and mentor over 100 private sector organizations (PSOs) on governance, advocacy, public private dialogue, institutional competence, membership recruitment, research for advocacy etc. I have also trained and coached over 200 young researchers and business development service providers on consulting for private sector development and PSOs. |

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom-Marketing), University of Dar es Salaam. He is a member of editorial board of Journal of Education and Training, Journal of Interest Groups, Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies and Family Business Review Recent projects: Principal Investigator of the Project on Engendering Rural Entrepreneurship and Agribusiness for Sustainable Development funded by Sida Co-Principal Investigator of a collaborative project with the Gothenburg University, Sweden on ‘Participatory Innovation Research for an Inclusive and Sustainable Waste Management’ funded by the Swedish Research Council. Co-Principal Investigator of the project on ‘Recycling networks: Grassroots resilience tackling climate, environmental and poverty challenges’ funded by the Swedish Research Council and Sida (2017-2019). The project was implemented in partnership with Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (Kenya), University of Gothenburg (Sweden), University of Victoria (Canada), Federal University of the ABC region (Brazil), National University of Quilmes (Argentina) and University of Central America (Nicaragua). Investigator of a project on ‘Successful African Firms and Institutional Change Project’ which was funded by DANIDA. The project was implemented in collaboration with the University of Nairobi, University of Zambia, and Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and Roskilde University (Denmark). From 2013-2019, Principal Investigator (PI) of an applied research project funded by Business Environment Strengthen for Tanzania (BEST-D) under DANIDA support. The project generated substantial evidence to support informed policy decisions and public-private dialogue (PPD) in Tanzania. Through this project, Goodluck participated in training and coaching over 100 private sector organizations and 200 young researchers on applied research for policy. The project also supported the formation of Centre for Policy Research and Advocacy (CPRA) and the Higher Learning Institutions Network (Hi-LINE) both of which are actively involved in the policy processes at the local and national levels.
