The University of Dar es Salaam in collaboration with NMB Bank PLC, has honored outstanding students from the department of Accounting and the department of Finance, UDBS in a prestigious awards ceremony. The award recipients are Tracy Beda, Achiles Kashasha, and Halbert Humphrey, were recognized for their exceptional academic performance. The event was graced by the Guest of Honor, Professor Donatha D. Tibuhwa, representing the University’s Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor William Anangisye. Also in attendance were Ms. Joanitha Rwegasira, Head of HR - Centre of Expertise at NMB Bank PLC; Dr. Patrick Mbwile, Acting Dean of UDBS; and Dr. Tobias Swai, the Head of the Department of Finance; who handled the award of Tzs. 5,000,000/= to each student. During the ceremony, Prof. Tibuhwa extended heartfelt gratitude to NMB Bank for its commitment to nurturing and rewarding academic talent at the University. In response, the NMB Bank representative reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to supporting and collaborating with the University of Dar es Salaam to develop and recognize the academic excellence of its students.
