On 24th May 2023, H.T. Rector Dr. Svetlana Bakulina and Head of International Office Dr. Valeria Bondareva from Samara State University of Social Sciences and Education paid a courtesy call to the University of Dar es Salaam.

The discussion was to negotiate the possibilities of cooperation in the field of education, research, and culture including organizing academic mobility programmes, seminars, symposia and conferences, round table discussions, forums, and other events of mutual interest.

UDSM believes that interinstitutional partnership could be beneficial for both universities considering the fact, that Russian-Tanzanian relations keep developing.
