Ambassador Tuvako Nathaniel Manongi

Ambassador Manongi is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and of the World Maritime University in Malmo, Sweden.

Over the years, Ambassador Manongi has held several positions, each contributing significantly to his experience, he began his career as a State Attorney at the Attorney-General’s Chambers in the Ministry of Justice before moving to the Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations. He has served as an Assistant to the third President of Tanzania and Permanent Representative of the United Republic of Tanzania to the United Nations.

Currently, he serves on the boards of UBA Tanzania, Geita Gold Mine, the Dr. Salim Ahmed Salim Center for Foreign Relations, and the Benjamin Mkapa Foundation. His leadership in these roles has driven growth and sustainability, fostered partnerships and ensuring ethical practices. Manongi is also involved in diplomatic training and healthcare initiatives, particularly through the Mkapa Foundation, advocating for equitable healthcare access.
