Research:

Research in petroleum geoscience focusing on the fundamental geological processes, geophysical analysis, and geochemical approach techniques that are relevant for petroleum exploration and production. Currently am working on the application of petroleum geochemistry principles to study how hydrocarbons are produced by the thermal maturation of organic-rich source rocks, how the hydrocarbons are forced out of the source rocks, and how they migrate and accumulate in hydrocarbon traps. Its chemical characteristics can be used to determine the organic origin of the hydrocarbons and to separate oils formed from different source rocks.
