On 10th October, Baobab Secondary School, St. Christina Girl's Secondary School, Sangu Secondary School, King David Secondary School and St. Matthew Secondary School, five schools have held Chinese knowledge Competition organized by Confucius Institute at UDSM.

 

Baobab Secondary School

On the afternoon of 3rd October, the Chinese Knowledge Competition was held in Baobab Secondary School, more than 100 students Participated in this competition.

 

St. Christina Girl's Secondary School

On the afternoon of 5th October, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Christina girl's secondary school hold a Chinese knowledge competition. After the first competition, eight students were selected to participate in the final competition.

 

King David Secondary School

On the afternoon of 7th October, Chinese Knowledge Competition was held at King David Secondary School. The purpose of this activity is to improve students' enthusiasm and interest in learning Chinese.

 

Sangu Secondary School

on the morning of 10th October,Sangu Secondary School held Chinese Knowledge Competition.

 

St. Matthew’s Secondary School

On 10th October, the first session of Chinese Knowledge Competition was held at St. Matthew Schools. Mr. Philiman Mhekwa, the vice principal in St. Matthew’s Schools, attended the event, which was attended by more than 30 middle school students.

 

The holding of the Chinese knowledge Competition has taught students the fun and benefits of learning Chinese. At the same time, it has added more confidence to many students who have already begun to learn Chinese to persist in learning Chinese well. And it also gives more incentives to those who have not come into contact with Chinese——learning Chinese is a happy and meaningful thing.
