Postgraduate Programmes

The College runs postgraduate programs leading to the award of Masters of Arts (MA) and PhD degrees. The MA programmes are offered in Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Statistics, Demography, Information Studies, Political Science and Public Administration and Geography. The college runs PhD programmes by the thesis in social science disciplines stated above. In addition there are three PhD programmes by coursework one in the department of Economics, and two in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration.     1. Occasional Students

 

The college of social sciences in collaboration with the Directorate of Internationalization of the University of Dar es Salaam coordinates programmes for occasional students. Students from Universities of other countries of the world with the required qualifications can apply and be admitted to occasionally do the part of their studies for the programmes offered by the College of Social Sciences. Occasional Students are accepted at the level of undergraduate studies and masters degrees.
