Kakiko (PhD) is a Lecturer in Mathematics, Department of Mathematics, University of Dar es Salaam. He is currently coordinator PACM (Pan African Centre of Mathematics),the joint venture between the UDSM and the Stockholm University (SU) of Sweden. He is also a coordinator of the Department of Mathematics Planning committee. He holds a BEd degree in Mathematics and Education, an MSc. degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Mathematics specializing in Functional Analysis. Kakiko’s research interests revolve descriptions of closed subalgebras of smooth real-valued functions on smooth functions, and descriptions of fixed points of different spaces. He has published some papers in local and international journals. He is involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate students also supervised number of master candidates. He is currently supervising two master candidates. |
