The objectives of NSCoB among others are:

1. To provide coordination and management of consultancies
2.  To market the expertise possessed by the College for promotion of the University mission of outreach activities and public services
3.  To link training, consultancy and outreach services with industries, ministries, individuals, community, private and public institutions
4.  To contribute effectively to the industrial and Socio-economic development of the Country
5.  To promote innovativeness and enterprise in Natural and Applied Sciences
6.  To offer regular professional training and development of science in communities (eg. PDP)
7.  To improve the infrastructure of the available production units such as glassblowing unit and Central Science Workshop
