On 8th February 2017, the University of Dar es Salaam signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Korean institution, Hanyang University Institute for Euro-African Studies (IEAS). The parties have discussed several following areas of mutual interest for future collaboration: Undertaking Joint research projects; Exchange of researchers; Joint initiatives, such as seminars and lectures; Exchange Students through Hanyang University Programs and Sharing of research output. Therefore through those areas, the center will be undertaking and facilitating those activities. Development of Curriculum for Korean studies in the first three years will be a benchmark in applying and incorporating Korean Studies Course (s) in the University Programs as elective course (s).
