What we do

The Centre for Climate Change Studies is a fast growing climate change training and research organization under the University of Dar es Salaam.

It carries out climate change related research projects funded by international donors; offers a PhD and a Master’s program in Climate Change and Sustainable Development; offers short courses in Climate Change and Sustainable Development; and carries out outreach programs.

Our Vision

To be a Centre of Excellency for capacity building and knowledge generation on climate change that informs policy and decision making at different levels.

Our Mission

To promote high quality climate change research, competent graduates and outreach climate change programs that will enhance innovation and anticipated climate change impacts in the country and beyond.
