This request for Bid follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business (UNDB) Issue No. WB-0P0015674 of 28.11.2021.

The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project through the Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MoEST) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of New Buildings at University of Dar es Salaam (Kagera campus). “For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s DisbursementGuidelines for Investment Project Financing.”

The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Building Contractors Class One for Construction of UDSM Buildings at Kagera campuses in Package 3.

Construction of Administration building, Students Hostel building, cafeteria and business center, constructed wetland, sewer line and site works(“the Works”) at The University of Dar es Salaam (Kagera campus) . The works must be completed within eighteen (18) months
