Biography

Miss Theodora Theodory Uisso is a Public Relations, Advertising, and Communication Tutorial Assistant, researcher, and consultant. She holds a master’s degree (honored) from OsloMet University in Norway and is currently pursuing further studies at the University of Dar es Salaam. She also holds an online certificate in Science Communication Skills for Journalist training and has attended consultancy training at the University of Dar es Salaam.

Specializing in Public Relations, Advertising, and Journalism, Miss Theodora teaches various communication disciplines, including Journalism, Mass Communication, and Public Relations. During her time in Norway, she attended conferences such as the Safety of Journalists Conference, moderated paper sessions, and contributed articles to the MEKK Group. She also presented a paper on Climate Change and Journalism Practices in Tanzania at the UDSM-SJMC EACA Conference.

With two years of experience as a journalist during her studies, she worked with Mlimani Media at the University of Dar es Salaam and served as a TV presenter for live programs on ITV and TBC1. Additionally, she has contributed as an assistant researcher on projects under the University of Dar es Salaam, including the UNESCO-UDSM Online Diploma for Journalists in Tanzania, the UDSM Yearbook, and audience research for TBC.
