Swahili BookBot
The research uses a mobile application called Bookbot whose mission is to enhance Tanzania’s children's reading abilities by supporting students in developing strong Kiswahili reading foundations. Bookbot acts as a digital reading tutor, merging speech recognition technology with an extensive reading program designed for school children to attain better literacy outcomes. By offering reporting tools for educators to track a child's reading progress and encourage ongoing growth, Bookbot establishes the foundation for lifelong learning and achievement.
