Research Interests: Ethics, Gender issues, HIV response, Everyday Humanitarianism, Religion, Governance, Leadership and Management, and Democracy. Recent Projects: 1. Coordinator: Enhancing Ethics and Integrity Capacity in Medical Research and Clinical Practice (ETHIMED) project, (January 2022-December 2026). The project is funded by the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills, through the Norwegian Partnership Programme for Global Academic Cooperation (NORPART) and is collaboratively conducted by the University of Dar es Salaam (Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies), the University of Oslo in Norway (Centre for Medical Ethics), and University of Rwanda (Faculty of Medicine). 2. Project Assistant: Developing online modules on gender equity and social inclusion of persons with disabilities, women, children and elderly persons, from June-October 2021. Funded by DAAD from funds of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation (BMZ).
