Current Summarised CV:	Prosper Mfilinge is a senior lecture in the Department of Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Technology of the University of Dar es Salaam. He holds a masters from the University of Hull, and a PhD in Marine and Environmental Sciences from the University of the Ryukyus-Japan. He has specialized in wetland ecology, particularly, inland and coastal wetlands, researching on trophic dynamics, structure, habitat heterogeneity, vegetation types and their linkages with the terrestrial environment. Prosper Mfilinge teaches and conducts consultancy in the fields related to wetland, limnology and terrestrial ecology. He is also a member of Western Indian Ocean Marine Sciences Association (WIOMSA), and Eastern Africa JSPS Alumni Association (EAJSPAAA). Out of his research work, projects and consultancy, he has published papers in well recognized international journals.
