Mr Emmanuel Nanai is an Assistant Lecturer at the department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum studies (EPCS) in the School of Education, University of Dar es Salaam. He holds a bachelor degree of B.A (Education) of the University of Dar es Salaam obtained in 2014 and a master degree of Master of Education in Language Education (MED LED) of the University of Dar es Salaam obtained in 2019. Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the University of Dar es Salaam pursuing a PhD in Education (Language Education) programme.

In May, 2015, he was firstly employed as a secondary school teacher in Arusha district council teaching English subject at Mwandet secondary school. Few months later, in November, 2015, he was employed as a Tutorial Assistant at the department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum studies (EPCS) in the School of Education, University of Dar es Salaam. He was eventually promoted to Assistant Lecturership position in May, 2019 after successfully completion of his master degree studies.

He has also participated in a number of research activities such as research assistant in a project called Implementation research on satellite model and INSET model for improving equality education. Also attended a number of research workshops such as;

•        workshop on Implementation research on satellite model and INSET model for improving equality education held at University of Dar es Salaam, School of Education, 28th – 29th September, 2019

 

•        Second Research workshop on Language Education, Youth, Gender and Development with a main theme Transforming language education and youth for development: A milestone to improving learning outcomes and life held at Agency for the Development of Education Management (ADEM) in Bagamoyo, 19th - 21st November, 2018.
