Miss. Gloria E. Mabula is a Laboratory scientist at the University of Dar es Salaam, Mbeya College of Health and Allied Sciences since 2023 to date.

She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Dar es Salaam(2019).

Her specialization areas are Organizing and demonstrating practical sessions for microbiology and immunology, Preparing laboratory teaching materials, and Providing technical support and scientific information in research and projects.

Basic laboratory skills: preparation and processing of all laboratory buffers, solutions, growth media, and microscopy. Molecular biology: isolation of nucleic materials, DNA extraction and DNA sequencing, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and protein purification, • Microbiology techniques: aseptic culture techniques for establishment and maintenance of culture, isolation and identification of microorganisms obtained from different sources, media preparation, staining procedures, culture, and sensitivity. • Others: equipment testing and calibration, chemical handling, first aid and safety, research and writing, data analysis and reporting.
