Frank J. Mateng’e is a Lecturer of Political Science, Public Administration and Management at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) of the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He holds a PhD in Public Administration (Coursework and Dissertation) from the University of Dar es Salaam. His research interests include the impact of public sector reforms on human resource management and human resource development systems, public service delivery systems, public procurement and accountability systems, government and politics in Tanzania, and public policy in Tanzania. He has participated in a number of studies and published journal papers. Dr. Mateng’e has supervised masters dissertations in his areas of research interests. He has also served as an external examiner for PhD and Masters students for Mbarara University of Science and Technology (Uganda), the St. Augustine University of Tanzania and the University of Dodoma, Tanzania.
