Dr. Christina Raphael is a holder of a Masters’ degree in Educational Management and Administration (MEMA) (2008) from the University of Dar es Salaam-Tanzania. She completed her PhD studies at the University College Dublin (UCD)-Ireland (2014) on Educational Management with specific interest on managing distance learning programmes. Currently, she is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Educational Foundations, Management and Life Long Learning. Christina is a Sub-Saharan teacher educator in core skills for teachers and school leaders under  British Council connecting classroom; Sub- Saharan teacher educators in ICT integration in Education under Commonwealth of Learning (CoL); National trainers on Problem Based Learning. In 2016, she was involved in a country study on Out Of School Children (OOSC) in Tanzania (2015-2016) funded by UNICEF. Other trainings and consultancies has been involved in include AJICA program on capacity development for analyses of education policy making and its effects in Japan under CICE- Hiroshima University, The African Digital School of Distinction model: Baseline study funded by GESCI and developing ICT Teacher’s guide for teaching Diploma Language Subject funded by UNESCO. She is also a board member at Agency for the Development of Educational Management (ADEM)- Bagamoyo (2017- 2020).
