Dr. Bruno Alberto Nyundo is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Zoology and Wildlife Conservation within the College of Natural and Applied Sciences, University of Dar Es Salaam. He has been a member of staff at UDSM since 1991. He teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr Nyundo holds a B.Sc. degree in Eduction (majoring in Biology and Geography), University of Dar es Salaam, 1989; M.Sc. in Applied Zoology (Pest and Parasite Management), University of Dar es Salaam, 1994; a Postgraduate Diploma in Insect Taxonomy, University of Wales Cardiff, 1996; and a Ph.D. in Applied Zoology, specializing in Insect Ecology. Dr. Nyundo’s areas of interest include Conservation of Invertebrate Biodiversity, designing protocols for monitoring Invertebrate Biodiversity, with particular interest in ground beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae), dung beetles (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae), and butterflies (Lepidoptera). He is an advocate of using Biostatistical methods in achieving objective results in conservation issues. |
