From October 30^th  to November 8^th , the teaching centres of the Confucius Institute at the University of Dar es Salaam began to recruit students.

Mkwawa University College of Education(MUCE)

Ms.Qu was teaching students how to write Chinese characters

From October 30^th to November 1^st, a series of Chinese activities were held in Mkwawa University College of Education successfully which attracted many students to register the Chinese course. The students who used to learn Chinese last year come and helped with the registration. In the HSK test held in this June, Baruole and Li Ai who got reward for their excellent scores in the test talked about the benefit of learning Chinese.

UDSM College of Education (DUCE)

 From October 29th to November 1st, UDSM College of Education, launched a new semester enrollment activity series. Cultural experience activities and publicity activities were successfully be held.  The program is designed to allow students to experience Chinese culture and to introduce them the Chinese courses, scholarship programs, and HSK exams. As for November 1^st , more than 100 students have completed the registration form and registered to study Chinese.

Ardhi University

From October 28^th to November 1^st, Chinese course publicity activities which including admissions counseling desk and propaganda meeting two parts, was be held at Ardhi University.On the Chinese language enrollment desk, items with Chinese characteristics attracted many students’ attention. Then two Chinese volunteer teachers patiently introduced the Chinese language curriculum and answered everyone's doubts.On the morning of October 31^st , more than 100 students participated in a Chinese language presentation which be held by two Chinese teachers. Coordinator Ms. Upendo Kadikos attended the presentation, she introduced the Chinese language course to students and encouraged them to participate in this course.

St .Augustine University(SAUT)

From  October 30^th to  November 1^st , St . Augustine University was held a series of successful Chinese enrollment activities. Chinese Teacher Wu Shiman and Wang Meixi set up a consultation registration desk and gave a lot information to new students, introducing Chinese language courses, HSK test, Chinese clubs and Confucius Institute scholarships. Until November 1^st , around 300 freshmen have registered Chinese courses.

Mbeya University of Science and Technology(MUST)

On October 30^th, Chinese teachers in Mbeya University of Science and Technology welcomed the new students in the school hall. Teachers and more than 400 students attended the conference . Ms. Wang explained the opportunities of learning Chinese to students, such as finding a good job, as well as the opportunity to attend a summer camp in China, taking the HSK exam and getting a scholarship to study in a Chinese university. Wang also introduced the school's Chinese courses and cultural activities.

National College of Tourism-Arusha Campus

On October 29^th , the National College of Tourism-Arusha Campus at CI UDSM was held a Chinese Class Seminar. It was hosted by Mr. Li Xiaowei. The Seminar focused on the Chinese language course, HSK, Confucius Institute Scholarship and Chinese Bridge, etc. During the seminar, Chinese lecturer organized a Gomoku Game and watch Chinese Kungfu movie. 148 students are participated in the Seminar.
