Students from various Universities in the country benefited from a one day seminar with practical entrepreneurship training held on 1st May 2021at Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE).
The training was facilitated byMsomi Forum,a non-governmental organization. The Forum was established with the aim of supporting education andother human developmentinitiatives in the country.
In the training, participants were able to learn practically how to make various goods such as liquid soap, batiki and vikoi.
Speaking during the workshop, a representative from the Dean of Students’ Office, Ms. Asha Bagaye, urged participants to focus on the training and use the knowledge and skills obtained therein for self-employment rather than over relying on the government employment.
The Official Guest during the event, Dr. Almas Seleman, who works as a Human Resource Officer at ‘Tanzania Local Government Workers Union’ (TALGWU), urged the participants to be creative in identifying the best opportunities before launching any business project. He finally emphasized on the beststrategies, endurance and commitment.
