Chang’ombe Demonstration Secondary School at the College is likely to receive support; thanks the arrival of Secretaries to Temeke Parliamentarian’s Office on Wednesday 10th February, 2021.

The Deputy Principal (Administration), Dr. Method Samwel, received Ms. Tumaini Muro and and her counterpart Mr. Mathias Ofutwa from the Member of Parliament (MP) Office.

The trio had a talk in which the duo said they were in a mission to visit all the Secondary Schools in Temeke Constituency to determine challenges facing the schools.

‘The idea is to collect the challenges and submit the report to the Temeke Member of Parliament Hon. Dorothy Kilave,’ Mr. Ofutwa who dubs as DUCE alumni (2019/2020) said.

The Deputy Principal, Dr. Method Samwel, thanked the delegation but noted that the challenges facing the Demonstration Secondary School are more institutional than individual.

‘Many schools would mention shortage of desks, toilets, water, or computers as challenges,’ Dr. Samwel said noting that the College Demonstration Secondary School had long since passed such challenges.

During the visit the Secretaries toured the Chang’ombe Demonstration Secondary School and had time to talk with teachers.
