On 2nd September 2021, the Coordinator of Internationalization and Advancement Unit, Dr. Mjege Kinyota organized a brief seminar to 19 academic staff expecting to begin studies overseas during this academic year 2020/21.

The seminar aimed at creating awareness to aforementioned staff about different international experiences, especially life coping strategies as international students.

The seminar was opened by Dr. Julius Mbuna, the former Deputy Principal Academic who requested the participants to be good ambassadors while abroad, so that the reputation of the college is assured and more opportunities are created.

The invited speaker of the event, CPA Shauku Kihombo shared his long term experience as an international student, and currently as a PhD student at Beijing Institute Technology (BIT). He pointed out the procedures of obtaining VISA, entry procedures and life copying strategies abroad.
