On 25th October 2021, the DUCE and THTU-HQ signed the agreement to facilitate co-operative labor relation that will be beneficial to both parties.
Speaking during the signing of the agreement, the College Principal, Prof. Stephen Oswald Maluka urged the parties to recognize that their common objective is to ensure effective running and growth of the organization from which the parties shall benefit.
”The purpose of this meeting is to enable the parties to communicate and negotiate on issues affecting the employment of the union members’’ He insisted.
On his part, the Acting Principal Secretary (THTU-HQ), Mr. Elia Lusekelo Kasalile said the parties agree that, whilst their interest may differ, they will try their best to resolve whichever dispute that may happen through discussion and negotiations.
