Academics at DUCE will effective from this year be able to undertake joint educational researches with TenMet – Tanzania Education Network, an umbrella organization for NGOs and CBOs which focus on education.

This follows the agreement signed yesterday between the College and TenMet in which the two parties agreed to undertake collaborative researches in education.

Speaking during a brief consultative meeting, the Acting Principal of DUCE, Prof. Stephen Maluka, said that the agreement is a sign of trust that TenMet has extended to DUCE adding that the College have capacity to undertake educational researches of different kinds.   

The TenMet National Coordinator, Mr. Ochola Wagoya, said as the umbrella NGO has broad research base and works with a number of organizations both local and international to address issues in education sector.  

The Deputy Principal (Administration) who represented the Deputy Principal (Academic), Dr. Method Samwel, said the collaboration will increase the volume of research activities among the academics at the College.
