A total of 1,565 graduands from Dar es salaam University College of Education (DUCE) were conferred with various degrees on Wednesday 24th November, 2021.

The Chancellor and the 4th President of the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellence Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete officiated at the 14th DUCE graduation ceremony held at DUCE sports grounds.

In his opening remarks, UDSM Council Chairman and the retired judge Damian Lubuva urged graduands to be good ambassadors and use the gained knowledge in solving the problems encountered.

On his part, UDSM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. William-Andey Lazaro Anangisye called on the graduands to be patriotic to the country wherever they will be discharging their responsibilities. He said:

”The World is changing fast, as such, be flexible with rapidly changing world in order not to be left behind. You should be willing to support people within your community”

Subsequently, DUCE Principal, Prof. Stephen Oswald Maluka pointed out that among the achievements they have stamped since last year is investing a lot in the capacity building of DUCE employees to ensure that they attain the desired excellence.
